Remembering the Space Shuttle Challenger Tragedy - 25 Years Ago

I was home at my first apartment in Milford, taking care of Brandi, who was 7 months old, when it came on TV.

Miracles
I love this time of year! It is so exciting to come home each day, get the mail and read all of the holiday cards! It is so nice to see how children have grown and read the news each family has to share! It is also a wonderful reminder of how many people care about us! Here is a quote from a card I received today from Aunt Kathy and Uncle Jim: "Where there is great love, there are always miracles". (Willa Cather) Let's hope each and every one of us has some small miracle to celebrate this year! I know I have some!

My Thanksgiving Turkey!
This Thanksgiving, I am most thankful for my new Granddaughter Carlie! We celebrated her first Thanksgiving and our first year as Grandparents and it was fabulous! She is such a joy! And like Carlie, we are also thankful for her Mommy, our wonderful daughter Brandi!
